Cygma acquires major share in Veritas Consulting
In an effort to meet the South African SMME market, Cygma
has secured a 55% share in Veritas Consulting on 21 April 2012. This was a follow-on from the closure of the Construction & Civil Safety division of the Group.
"We closed CCS down as it was limited in its operational
capacity and due to the fact that most of the clients CCS had, were contracted
to the same company, whom we rather not do business with. "The
acquisition of Veritas was pure strategy played out with perfect timing as it
helped us to improve on some internal issues in the process." said Rudy Maritz, head of HSE Operations.
Cygma commits to Ethical Business
The Cygma Group and its staff have committed to Ehtical business and personal practises by officially joining the Unshamedly Ethical Initiative on 7 September 2011.

Veritas launches EVAP 1
SA Companies are soon the get an exciting addition to
their management, with the launch of Veritas' Reponsible Business Management
Program. The RBM is designed for the SMME market and mirrors the requirements of a selected number of ISO standards, including ISO 26000 on social responsibility.
